AAFCO NUTRITIONAL ADEQUACY STATEMENT
AvoDerm Chicken & Herring Meal Formula cat food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for adult cats.
DAILY FEEDING GUIDELINES
ADULT FEEDING CHART
3-5 lbs: 1/4 to 1/2 cup
5-10 lbs: 1/2 to 1 cup
10-15 lbs: 1 to 1 1/3 cups
PREGNANT FEMALES
During pregnancy increase, the feeding amount during the last 1/3 of pregnancy to 1 1/2 times the amount recommended as shown for the adult. Avoid excessive overfeeding, maintaining a good body condition, while preparing for whelp and nursing.
LACTATING FEMALES
A nursing female can expect to need 2 to 3 times as much food as recommended in the adult feeding guideline. Adjust the extra food given by the number of kittens and length of nursing. Try to maintain a good body condition. However, with large numbers of kittens, expect to have some loss in body fat for milk production.
